Wauwatosa Man Dies In Snowmobile Crash In Washington County
The initial investigation indicated that the snowmobile driver failed to negotiate a curve on the trail and struck a tree.

WAUWATOSA, WI— A 32-year-old Wauwatosa man died in a snowmobile crash on Tuesday night in Washington County, according to a news release.
At 10:35 p.m. the Washington County Sheriff’s Office received a call that a driver of a snowmobile had struck a tree and was unconscious.
The man, who had no pulse, was located on the trail system in the area of Scenic Rd and Pioneer Rd in the Village of Richfield, the release said.

Rescue efforts were attempted but ultimately he was determined to be dead.
The initial investigation indicated that the snowmobile driver failed to negotiate a curve on the trail at the entrance to a wooded area and struck a tree, the release said.

The Hill and Gully Snowmobile Club as well as multiple people in the area assisted law enforcement, rescue personnel, and helped with bringing supplies to the crash scene and in transporting the man from the scene of the crash.
The accident remains under investigation by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, the Wisconsin State Patrol, and the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
