Where To Get Flu Shots In Wauwatosa
Here's a list of places that has flu shots available in and around Wauwatosa.
WAUWATOSA, WI — Health officials recommend that people should get vaccinated for the flu this season.
The Wauwatosa Health Department is hosting a flu shot clinic at City Hall, at 7725 W North Ave., from 2-5 p.m. on Oct. 14.
Children get the shot free, while adults pay $30 and people 65 and older pay $60.

Flu shots don't require an appointment and walk-ins are welcome, the health department said.
Local drugstores and supermarkets like CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, Pick 'N Save, Metro Market and Meijer also offer flu shots.

Here's a list of a few other places to get a shot at for flu season:
- Aurora Pharmacy, 1055 N. Mayfair Rd. Open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Monday to Friday. Closed on weekends. No appointment needed.
- CVS Pharmacy, 3900 N. 124th St. Open 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. from Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends. No appointment needed.
- CVS Pharmacy, 7520 W. Bluemound Rd. Open 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. from Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. No appointment needed.
- Froedtert - Tosa Health Center, 1155 N. Mayfair Rd. Open 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. from Monday to Friday. Closed on weekends. Appointments required.
- Hayat Pharmacy, 5928 W. Vliet St., Milwaukee. Open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. from Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday. Closed Sunday. Appointments required
- Meijer, 11111 W. Burleigh St. Open 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. from Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends. No appointments required.

The health department said that getting a flu vaccine is important to protect people, their families and communities from the flu. It can also reduce the burden on healthcare systems responding to the COVID-19 pandemic and save medical resources for coronavirus patients.
