3 Arrested After 18-Year-Old Woman Killed In Whitefish Bay: Police

Three people were arrested and one is facing charges after a woman was killed in Whitefish Bay in December, police announced Monday.

WHITEFISH BAY, WI — Three people have been arrested and one of them is facing charges after an 18-year-old woman was killed in December in Whitefish Bay, police announced Monday.

The woman was killed in a shooting on Dec. 31 near Anita Avenue and Chateau Place, police said. By March 21, the investigation led to three arrests. Police said they booked and referred charges for all three people.

By Monday the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office decided to charge one of the three, 18-year-old Charles E. Daniels III, with first-degree intentional homicide as a party to a crime, police said.

Online court records showed that the district attorney has not filed charges against the other two who were arrested. The other two suspects were 18 and 20 years old, police said.

Police said they managed to arrest the three with the help of police from Milwaukee, Wauwatosa, River Falls and sheriff's departments from St. Croix and Milwaukee Counties.
