• William ('Bill,' 'Gumdrop') A Gennrich (merrillfotonews.com) — A Whitefish Bay connection appears in the life story of William “Bill” Gennrich, whose step-brother John Emanuel lives in Whitefish Bay. Bill, a longtime Sun Prairie High School teacher and Army veteran, died peacefully in Arizona on November 26. His family asks that memorials support a scholarship fund for Merrill High School students rather than flowers.
