- The Wyoming Game and Fish Department will hold a public meeting at the Casper regional office on Jun. 29 at 6:00 p.m. The meeting will seek public input on proposed changes to several regulations, including the General Hunting Regulation and Mountain Lion Hunting Seasons. The department will also accept written comments through Aug. 4 at 5:00 p.m. (Oil City News)
- Hundreds of attendees showed up to the second day of Casper's 16th annual NIC Fest last week despite overcast skies. This year's festival featured performances from Cirque Orenda, the Salt Lake City-based acrobatics troupe, as well as a variety of games and local vendors. - The City of Casper is seeking the public's help in identifying damage from last week's storms. Anyone who witnesses possible sinkholes is asked to call non-emergency dispatch at 235-8278 to report the location. Drains in need of clearing can also be reported by calling 235-8400.
