  1. An attic fire on the 1300 block of S. Forest Drive displaced one family on Sunday. Firefighters say the family heard the smoke detectors going off and then saw smoke coming from the attic when they exited the home. Fire crews were able to get the fire out but the family was not able to return due to significant damage to the roof structure. Firefighters would like to use this as a reminder that working smoke detectors save lives and regularly checking them each month is important. (K2 Radio)
  2. On Sunday afternoon, a driver crashed into an apartment building on East First and Jackson Streets in Casper. Police say the driver suffered a medical event causing him to jump the curb, hit a sign, and finally crash into the brick apartment building. No injuries were reported. Residents of the building reported feeling the impact but none were hurt. (K2 Radio)
  3. Wyoming is now fifth in the nation for number of craft breweries per capita. The Cowboy State has seen a rise in the number of breweries in Wyoming cities and regions with tourist attractions, including Casper. Local breweries are continuing to expand their flavors of beer to give locals and tourists a taste of what the state has to offer. Casper has 10 craft breweries alone which is almost one-fifth of the slightly more than 50 breweries listed on the Brewers Association Website for Wyoming. (Cowboy State Daily)
