  1. Jevon Leon Bynum, of Casper, has been charged with three felonies and could face 10-95 years in prison if convicted. Bynum allegedly had illegal drugs mailed to his mother's house and was distributing fentanyl pills in Casper. He was charged with possession with intent to distribute fentanyl, possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, and a felon in possession of a firearm. (K2Radio)
  2. Casper’s City Hall is about to undergo its first major renovation which is expected to be complete around the middle of 2024. During construction, city employees have been temporarily relocated to the former Casper Business Center, 123 W. 1st St. All City Council meetings and work sessions will be held at The Lyric, 230 W. Yellowstone Highway, starting May 30. All meetings will still be broadcast live via the city’s YouTube channel as well as cable channel 192. (Oil City News)
  3. Former Wyoming walk-on Nathanial Talich is transferring to Casper College! The Casper College men's basketball program also has a new head coach, Tom Parks. Talich said Parks was the reason he decided on Casper and said, “Coach Parks and I had a little connection out of high school, and I trust him, and I know something special will happen in Casper.” (Casper Star Tribune)

  • Casper lodging properties has donated rooms for the annual College National Finals Rodeo! This year, 13 Casper lodging properties have donated 50-room and 600-room nights for a total value of $139,098! Wayne Stewart, director of marketing and communications for Visit Casper said, “Their donations are an integral part of having this national event in Casper.” (Wyoming News Now)
  • According to statistics from Travel Wyoming, Natrona County has seen an increase in tourism! Natrona County witnessed over 746,000 visitors in 2022, a big increase from 730,000 in 2021. (Travel And Tour World)
