Modern Electric Co. will handle traffic signal, sidewalk, and ADA upgrades on a key stretch of Broadway Avenue in downtown Jackson through 2026, work that could support jobs and showcase Casper expertise statewide.
   

5. Wyoming scientists, tech advocates, fret over future of federal supercomputing center in Cheyenne (wyofile.com) — A federal move to dismantle the NCAR supercomputing center in Cheyenne could ripple into Casper’s growing data and tech scene, which already includes local data centers. Wyoming scientists and officials warn that losing the Cheyenne supercomputer would threaten critical drought and weather research, as well as the broader tech economy the facility helped attract to the state.
