1. Paralyzed Casper Veteran receives key to wheelchair-friendly house donated by Homes For Our Troops (oilcity.news) — A paralyzed Casper Army veteran, Staff Sgt. Bryan Price, just received the keys to a fully wheelchair-accessible home built for his family by the nonprofit Homes For Our Troops. Community members and state officials joined a heartfelt ceremony in Casper, celebrating his service, resilience and the first such home the organization has built in Wyoming.
   

2. Casper's Veeder pays it forward as Red Kettle Campaign volunteer (oilcity.news) — Casper residents are being asked to step up as Salvation Army bell ringers to support local programs like WyStepUp, which helps women leaving prison get back on their feet. Youth pastor and longtime beneficiary Jason Veeder now volunteers daily at the 2nd Street Walmart, and organizers say funds raised stay in Casper to support food, housing, and youth services year-round.

TBirds Volleyball Shines Under Coach Angel Sharman's Leadership (k2radio.com) — Casper College volleyball fans can celebrate as head coach Angel Sharman has been named All-Region IX North Coach of the Year after leading the T-Birds to regional titles and a national tournament berth. The team finished the season ranked 14th in the nation, with players and staff praising Sharman’s energy, leadership, and impact on their lives.

Three Casper professionals top Wyoming Chamber of Commerce's 2025 'Forty Under 40' list (oilcity.news) — Three young professionals from Casper have been named to the Wyoming Chamber of Commerce’s 2025 “Forty Under 40” list, highlighting their leadership and impact on the state’s economy. The statewide honor spans many industries, but Casper’s honorees stand out among peers from Cheyenne, Gillette, Sheridan and other Wyoming communities.
