The variety of subjects encapsulated on Road To California speak to Ewing’s versatility as an artist and as a songwriter who has had songs recorded by Kenny Chesney, Shania Twain, George Strait, Keb Mo, Willie Nelson, Keith Urban, and numerous others. Most recently, his song “I Would If I Could,” co-written with Dean Dillon, has been brought to the spotlight and taken on new life with two of the most successful artists of the past few years.
