Jackson Hole is hot destination for winter sports, why not buy real estate in the nearby area?

With a population of only 176 people, Teton Village, or the Vil, has been able to maintain a peaceful, small-town Swiss-like feel while still being accessible to top-rated entertainment. Located within Jackson, WY, Teton Village is known for its proximity to several famous skiing attractions as well as hosting a charming clock tower, tram station, and the distinction of being awarded the safest Jackson neighborhood. It is also one of the top five greatest Jackson income growth areas over the last five years, one of the highest appreciating neighborhoods since 2000, and the number one neighborhood for schooling in the area.
Because of its never-ending availability of activities, Teton Village has gained a well-deserved reputation as a popular year-round destination for visitors and residents alike. In the winter, skiing and snowboarding are popular draws, but there are many other activities to choose from in the wintertime. Wildlife tours, sleigh rides, dog sledding, and aerial tours are just a few options.
Located only 12 miles away is the world-famous Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, home to the largest vertical rise in America at 4,139 feet. In addition to being the largest, it is also the most well-known, thanks to skiers and snowboarders of all kinds being drawn to the multitude of training classes and slope difficulty levels.

The Jackson Hole Aerial Tram is of itself a very popular tourist attraction. Enjoying a ‘top of the world waffle’ inside Corbet’s Cabin at Rendezvous Peak is something people never forget, mostly due to the magnificent location at 10,450 feet and the fact it can only be accessed via tram. Corbet's Couloir is on every skier’s top 10 list of steep runs and has been described as America’s scariest ski slope.
The Grand Teton National Park is located just a few miles north of Teton Village. During the summer months, it offers a range of attractions such as wildlife viewing, hiking, camping, boating, fishing, and mountaineering. Yellowstone National Park is home to old faithful, a geyser that predictably erupts every 44 to 125 minutes.

Winter isn’t the only time to enjoy Jackson. In the summer, people can choose from an endless variety of activities within Teton Village and the nearby towns such as swimming, whitewater rafting, fly fishing, dining out, shopping, hunting, and horseback riding, as well as a chance to experience the many golf courses, campsites, and hiking trails. Sightseeing via tramway is also a big attraction, no matter what season. There is also a huge cultural influence in Jackson and its surrounding neighborhoods. With a variety of art galleries, museums, events and festivals, there is truly something for everyone.
