The deal keeps the property in agriculture while safeguarding water rights, wildlife habitat, and scenic open space along the Cody Canal corridor for future generations.
   

• WyoPreps Releases 2025-26 Preseason Basketball Rankings Ahead of Tipoff (wakeupwyo.com) — Cody High School’s basketball teams enter the 2025–26 season highly ranked in WyoPreps’ statewide coaches and media polls, with the girls at No. 1 in 3A and the boys at No. 2. The rankings, voted on by coaches and media across Wyoming, offer an early look at which programs could be playing for championships next March.
   

• Linda Lee Jennings (codyenterprise.com) — Cody residents are mourning longtime rock club leader and artist Linda Lee Jennings, who passed away December 5 in Cody after battling leukemia. Active in the Cody 59ers Rock Club, local rockhounding, and the Cody Art League, she was recently honored as Rockhound of the Year and is remembered for her generosity, adventurous spirit, and mentorship in lapidary arts.
