• Green River Council Approves Engagement with Employment Law Attorneys (sweetwaternow.com) — Green River residents should know the City Council has hired Crowley Fleck Attorneys to handle the city’s employment law needs after its longtime firm retired. City staff say the new engagement-based billing, about $300 an hour, should save money by paying only for work actually performed on personnel and policy issues.
   

• Bruce Clyde Harcourt (June 2, 1940 – December 13, 2025) (sweetwaternow.com) — Green River is mourning the passing of longtime community member Bruce Clyde Harcourt, an 85-year-old retired miner remembered for his love of the outdoors and storytelling. He leaves behind his wife Betty of Green River, several children and grandchildren, and many extended family members. Cremation has taken place, with a Celebration of Life planned at a later date.
