WYDOT to implement 'blank-out' left turn signs on 3rd St in Laramie (einpresswire.com) — Drivers in downtown Laramie will see new ‘blank-out’ no-left-turn signs activated along 3rd Street starting Monday, Dec. 22, during the busiest afternoon and early evening hours. WYDOT says the change aims to ease congestion and reduce crashes, and engineers will keep monitoring traffic to fine-tune when the signs turn on at Grand, Ivinson, and University intersections.
   

2. Local Lookout: Juvenile justice reform (wyofile.com) — Downtown Laramie is getting a new all-ages pinball arcade designed as a welcoming community hub where neighbors of all ages can reconnect in person. The statewide news roundup also touches on juvenile justice work in Cheyenne, open space preservation in Park County, teacher recruitment in Campbell County, and accessory dwelling unit discussions in Evanston.

Hours, in-person services, and pass sales vary widely, and many needs—from maps to day-use and Christmas tree permits—can now be handled online or by phone instead of over the counter.
