• Reverend Edwin E. Hinshaw, ('66) (bu.edu) — Sheridan families are remembering Reverend Edwin Everett Hinshaw, whose grandchildren and great-grandchildren now call Sheridan home, after he passed away at age 91 in Maine. The longtime Quaker minister and educator served in Indiana, New England, Kenya, Iowa, Maryland, and Maine, with memorial services planned in Durham, Maine this January and in Winchester, Indiana in April.
   

• Trump Targets Tractor Regulations, Promising Relief For Wyoming Farmers (cowboystatedaily.com) — Wyoming farmers, including those in Sheridan County, could see fewer costly tractor shutdowns as Trump vows to roll back environmental rules and the EPA updates diesel exhaust fluid guidance. New software for 2026–27 equipment and free reprogramming for older machines aim to prevent sudden “limp mode” during critical harvest work, potentially saving producers significant time and money.
