3 Children Injured After Suspect Hits Pickens County School Bus, Leaves Scene

ALEA is asking for the public's help locating the person responsible after hitting the school bus with a truck and injuring three children.

REFORM, AL — The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency is asking for the public's help in locating those involved in a hit-and-run of a Pickens County school bus Thursday afternoon in Reform that resulted in three children suffering injuries not believed to be life-threatening.

ALEA says troopers responded to the call of a two-vehicle crash at around 3:43 p.m. Thursday on Pickens County Road 30 at the intersection of Kelley Road.

ALEA Public Information Officer Senior Trooper Reginal King said the other vehicle involved left the scene is believed to be a silver or pewter late model extended cab Ford F150 with significant damage to the driver’s side mirror and damage to the passenger side front wheel undercarriage.
