  2. Birmingham's 49th annual Greek Food Festival kicks off today (Oct. 13). This free festival will be at Holy Trinity-Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Cathedral of Birmingham through Oct. 15. Participants will enjoy various Greek cuisine, Greek music, dancing, and more. A portion of the proceeds collected through the festival will be donated to Children's of Alabama and the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Alabama. (WIAT - CBS42.com)
  3. The Birmingham Urban League has started its month-long school tour, running through Nov. 10.
