Altercation Leads To Deadly Shooting In East Birmingham
A man was shot and killed early Saturday morning in the 7600 block of 2nd Ave North.
BIRMINGHAM, AL — A man was shot and killed early Saturday morning in east Birmingham. The shooting occurred just after 2:30 a.m. in the 7600 block of 2nd Ave North.
Police say a verbal altercation led to the shooting, between Treven Williams of Birmingham and an unidentified man. Williams was shot, and the other man fled the scene, according to Sgt. Rod Mauldin of the Birmingham Police Department. Williams was pronounced dead on the scene.
Mauldin said no arrests have been made, and anyone with information on this case is asked to contact the Birmingham PD Homicide Unit at 205-254-1764.
