Arrest Made In Fatal East Birmingham Shooting
A juvenile was arrested in the Saturday morning shooting death of Treven Williams in east Birmingham.
BIRMINGHAM, AL — A 17-year-old has been arrested in the Saturday morning shooting death of Treven Williams in east Birmingham. Williams was found dead in the parking lot of an apartment complex on 2nd Avenue North.
The juvenile was taken into custody Wednesday, according to Officer Truman Fitzgerald of the Birmingham Police Department.
The shooting occurred just after 2:30 a.m. in the 7600 block of 2nd Ave North. Police say an altercation between Williams and the juvenile led to the shooting. The juvenile fled the scene after the shooting.

The 17-year-old white male is being held at Jefferson County Jail with no bond. Capital murder charges are pending.
