- Alabama's celebrity attorney Alexander Shunnarah gave away turkeys on Monday in Birmingham. Shunnarah distributed 500 birds from his office headquarters on First Avenue South for four hours. The giveaway was first-come, first-served in a drive-through format. (AL.com)
- Birmingham's Anthony Thomas Hudson, 24 years old, was killed in a hit-and-run incident over the weekend. According to the Jefferson County Coroner's Office, Hudson was struck on the 6500 block of Aaron Aronov Drive in Fairfield. The driver fled the scene after the collision. The incident is still under investigation. (WIAT - CBS42.com)
- The Birmingham Candy Company will be opening a second location in Mountain Brook. The second location will be located at 81 Church St., though its opening date has not been announced. The company's original location will still be at The Pizitz Food Hall. (Bham Now)
