Birmingham's Mayoral Election Results: Woodfin Projected Winner
Mayor Randall Woodfin has run away from the pack with more than 90 percent of the precincts reporting.

BIRMINGHAM, AL — Mayor Randall Woodfin looks poised for re-election as he has carried more than 65 percent of the vote with more than 70 percent of the precincts reporting results. Woodfin's massive lead was maintained all night.
Winning the election without a runoff was no small feat with eight candidates vying for the seat. However, even Woodfin's strongest challengers were unable to gain any ground on the incumbent.

- Randall L. Woodfin (i): 21,942 votes
- Lashunda Scales: 6,810 votes
- William A. Bell: 3,157 votes
- Chris Woods: 1,474 votes
- Cerissa Brown: 223 votes
- Philemon Hill: 139 votes
- Darryl Williams: 111 votes
- Napoleon Gonzalez: 44 votes
