BIRMINGHAM, AL — NBA basketball legend Charles Barkley is encouraging COVID-19 vaccines by hosting a rally this Saturday in his "Get Stuck with Chuck" campaign to promote more vaccinations in Birmingham.

The rally, presented by the University of Alabama at Birmingham Minority Health & Health Disparities Research Center, will provide walk-up and drive-in vaccines at Legion Field between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Vaccines will be delivered by a team led by Dr. Celeste Reese-Willis, a family and urgent care physician. Walk-up vaccines will be administered by Alabama Regional Medical Services, a Federally Qualified Health Center serving the greater Birmingham area.
