  1. The Birmingham Police Department is currently investigating a double homicide that occurred early Sunday morning. The shooting took place in the 100 block of 3rd Avenue North around 2:00 a.m. Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene. The department says it has not yet identified any suspects.   2. Birmingham Fire and Rescue responded to a drowning at Embassy Suites on Saturday. According to the department, a child was located inside the hotel pool on Woodcrest Pl. The child is currently at Children's ER in critical condition. The department is actively investigating the incident. (WIAT - CBS42.com)
  3. The Better Business Bureau is warning Birmingham residents about possible open enrollment scams. The scammers are posing as insurance agents while attempting to take residents' identities or money. The agency is asking residents to report scams at this link. (WBRC)
