  1. The City of Birmingham will begin opening warming stations today to prepare for the dramatic temperature drop. The warming station will be at 3420 2nd North from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. through Wednesday. There will be various transportation options available to the shelter. (Alabama's News Leader)
  2. Two individuals were killed in traffic crashes on Sunday on Interstate 59/20. The two deaths occurred in separate incidents. Douglas Edward Washington, 55, and Margaret Martin Greenwood, 57, have been identified as the crash victims by the Jefferson County Coroner's Office. (AL.com)
  3. The Birmingham boy found at the bottom of an indoor hotel pool has been pronounced dead. The boy has been identified as five-year-old Jamir Ali-Shabazz-Hawkins by the Jefferson County Coroner's Office. The child died at Children's of Alabama. (AL.com)
