Here are the top three stories in Birmingham today:
- The City of Birmingham will be opening a warming station on Saturday and Sunday in partnership with Jimmie Hale Mission. It will be located at 3420 2nd Avenue with operating hours between 7:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. There will be food and showers available. (WVTM13 Birmingham)
- The Jefferson County District Attorney's Office will not be filing charges in a shooting that occurred on Tuesday at a Birmingham home. A homeowner shot and killed an intruder that was attempting to crawl through the home's window. The shooting has been ruled justifiable. (AL.com)
- Birmingham's McWane Science Center is hosting Superhero Science Day tomorrow, Nov. 12, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The center's IMAX Dome will also be screening "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" during the event. Superhero Science Day is included in the center's general admission but IMAX tickets are sold separately. Tickets can be purchased here. (Bham Now)
