Fairfield Shooting Leaves 1 Man Dead
Another deadly shooting in Fairfield, the third in the last month, is under investigation by the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office.

FAIRFIELD, AL — A man was found dead at the scene of a shooting Monday in Fairfield. The shooting occurred just before 5 p.m. at a package store in the 3600 block of Lloyd Noland Parkway.
This is the third deadly shooting in Fairfield in the last month.
"Detectives are currently conducting interviews and collecting evidence," Sgt. Joni Money of the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said. "There is no suspect in custody at this time."
