Great Birmingham Bake-Off: What To Know
Workshops Empowerment Inc. and its Junior Board are bringing the Great Birmingham Bake-off to Cahaba Brewery.
BIRMINGHAM, AL — Workshops Empowerment Inc. and its Junior Board are bringing an exciting new special event to Birmingham: the Great Birmingham Bake-Off. The event is scheduled for March 19 at Cahaba Brewery.
Most recently, WE Inc. launched WE Made, a social enterprise workforce development program making a series of sprays, decorative and useful fire starters and now Southern-based baking mixes including cornbread, biscuits, pound cake and hummingbird cake.
All of the baked goods for the bake-off start with one of the WE Made baking mixes. A $20 ticket lets attendees sample each of the competing baked goods, plus receive a ticket for a Cahaba Brewing beer.
