  1. Authorities have identified the 73-year-old man killed in a Birmingham house fire last week. Otis Cauthen Jr.was pulled from the home by firefighters and taken to UAB Hospital. The fire occurred around 8:00 p.m. Thursday night in Kingston. (AL.com)
  2. Huffman High School students have constructed a tiny home for a family in need. This is the second tiny home they have constructed as part of Huffman High School’s Architecture and Construction Academy. The project began after students mastered building dog houses and birdhouses using plastic, cardboard, and popsicle sticks. (WIAT - CBS42.com)
  3. The 76-year-old Birmingham woman has died following a multi-vehicle accident. The accident occurred on Sunday on 35th Avenue North. Shirley M. Blackmon sustained blunt force injuries as a passenger and died six hours after the wreck. (WBRC)
