Man Charged With Murder In May 27 Shooting In Ensley
An arrest has been made in the May 27 shooting death of Robert Jonathan Roy.

BIRMINGHAM, AL — Birmingham police have arrested a man in connection with the May 27 shooting death of Robert Jonathan Roy. Roy was shot at a Chevron station at 2301 Ensley Avenue and died at UAB Hospital.
Thursday, police arrested 54-year-old John David Johnson, who is charged with capital murder and certain persons forbidden to possess a pistol.
Johnson is currently in the custody of the Jefferson County Jail with no bond.
