  1. A man was killed in a motorcycle accident on Monday in Birmingham. According to police, the man was on a motorcycle traveling south on Old Mulga Loop Road when he lost control and hit an embankment. The man was from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. As of Monday afternoon, police are still investigating the crash. (WBRC)
  2. A man is dead after a vehicle collision with a train. According to police, the crash occurred at 6:20 p.m. on Sunday on Jefferson Avenue and 17th Way. The train involved was an Amtrak passenger train coming from New Orleans to Birmingham. As of Monday afternoon, it is unclear if there were other injuries in the accident. (AL.com)
