- Also, every incumbent running for re-election for the Birmingham City council has been declared the projected winner in their bids to keep their seats. In fact, none of the races ended up being very close. (Birmingham Patch)
- UAB Hospital officials report that its ICU population includes an "alarming" number of pregnant women. This is significantly different than the last wave of COVID-19, and pretty scary. (Alabama NewsCenter)
