• Foley looking to upgrade current library for future Senior Center (gulfcoastmedia.com) — Foley is moving its Senior Center into the current public library building once the new, larger library opens on East Orange Avenue in spring 2026, doubling space for senior activities. City leaders have approved funding to improve accessibility, lighting, sidewalks, and parking, while the new 40,000-square-foot library will add modern features for residents of all ages.
   

• South Baldwin Chamber Searches For New Membership Director In Foley (obawebsite.com) — Foley residents will soon see a familiar face working for the city, as former South Baldwin Chamber leader Frank Shepard has been hired as Foley’s new Economic Development Manager. His focus will be recruiting retail, hospitality, and medical businesses, while the Chamber searches for a relationship-driven Membership Director to keep local business connections strong.
   

• Foley police say shooting victim let suspect into his home (fox10tv.com) — Foley police say a man who was shot inside his Linda Court home Tuesday had invited the suspect in, and investigators believe the attack was targeted. The victim is recovering from surgery, and officers are reviewing evidence while stressing there’s no ongoing threat, asking neighbors near Linda Court and North Cedar to share any tips or camera footage.
