- The Hoover City Council has agreed to do an inventory of recreational facilities and to create an amenity strategic plan. The project will be performed by LandDesign at a price tag of $239,000. Signature Homes has provided a $50,000 donation to cover some of the project's cost. (Hoover Sun)
- Alabama Goods is expanding to Hoover. The store sells Alabama-made items such as gifts, food, and general goods. According to co-owner Beth Staula, the Hoover location has been in the works for years. The new store will be located in Stadium Trace Village. (Hoover Sun)
- The Ho Ho Hoover Randle Open House will be on Sunday, Dec. 4, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. There will be food, tree displays, and various performances during the event. The event will benefit Hoover Helps. Click for ticket details. (City of Hoover via Facebook)
