• Search underway for inmate who escaped from Hoover work assignment (abc3340.com) — Law enforcement is searching in and around Hoover after an inmate escaped from a community work assignment there Saturday afternoon, and residents are urged to stay alert. Officials released a detailed description of 27-year-old Alexus Uniqu Percival-Lolley and ask anyone who spots her to immediately contact local police, the Birmingham Community Work Center, or ADOC, rather than approaching her themselves.
