Here are the top three stories in Hoover today:
- For the first time in nearly six decades, this year's Bluff Park Art Show won't be held at Bluff Park. Due to ongoing construction that may not be completed by the Oct. 1 event, the Bluff Park Art Association decided to move the event to the Hoover Met for this year. - If you love to scout for vintage finds, you won't want to miss Vintage Market Days at the Finley Center from Sep. 29 through Oct. 1. Attendees can explore the works of over 100 vendors of vintage-inspired goods from across the nation while noshing on delicious food truck cuisine. Click here to learn more about Vintage Market Days. - Birmingham Water Works, the City of Hoover's primary water provider, announced it will soon be rolling out newly-designed bills in an effort to address longstanding issues. According to BWW PR manager Rick Jackson, one of the biggest changes will be the listing of all charges on a single bill, rather than multiple bills. The bill's formatting and sizing will also be adjusted to help customers more easily interpret their monthly charges. (AL.com)
