Flooding Spotted in Parts Of Shelby County, Motorists Cautioned
Heavy rain Tuesday has parts of Shelby County under water, as motorists are asked to take caution during "life threatening" flash flooding.

HOOVER, AL — Parts of Shelby County are under a flash flood warning Tuesday, as heavy rain has caused what the Ntional Weather Service reports as "life-threatening flooding." The warning was issued just after 3:30 p.m., in effect until 6:30 p.m.
Flooding is expected to affect traffic through the evening and into Wednesday morning.

The NWS reports that more than 3 inches of rain have accumulated in the affected areas, and drivers are warned to stay off the roads if at all possible.
