Here are the top three stories in Hoover today:

  1. Check out this list of 10 not-so-typical events inspired by The World Games 2022. Included on this list is Hoover Restaurant Week: World Games Edition, which runs Jul. 7-17. More than 30 restaurants in the city will offer tasty easts, deals, and more. Click the link for all the events. (Bham Now)
  2. Five children and four adults were injured in a fire that burned units at a Hoover apartment complex for the second time. On Tuesday, a fire burned several units at The Lory of Hoover Apartments, on Emerald Pointe Drive off of Old Rocky Ridge Road. A fire previously broke out at the same complex in December 2021. The victims were taken to hospitals for injuries. (WBRC)
