  2. A ribbon-cutting ceremony is taking place today, Jun. 9, for Urgent Care for Children-Brock's Gap. The new pediatric urgent care facility is meeting the needs of many in the community, opening at the Village at Brock’s Gap in Hoover. The clinic will offer weekend and late weekday hours, and has an on-site lab that performs blood tests, urine analysis, and rapid COVID, flu, strep, and RSV testing, while an in-house pharmacy will handle common prescriptions.
