Congratulations to Emmy Rains for winning 1st place in the Novice Division of IPDA Debate at the Cryptid Classic Virtual Forensics Tournament, hosted by Bowling Green State University on February 26.

Competing against 37 other colleges and universities, Jefferson State won 4th place Debate Team Sweepstakes in the tournament, thanks to Rains and fellow debaters Jacob Davidson and Adrienne Lunceford. Team members Blake Denney, Ruth Dismukes and Jacob Goldberg assisted by providing research assistance.
