  2. Friday night lights are on their way. AL.com took a moment to consider which schools in Alabama have the best football atmosphere. Two stadiums were tied for the first place for Friday Night Atmospheres, and one of them is very close to home. Read more about the poll and why AL.com picked the Hoover Met as the best Friday night stadium. (AL.com)
  3. Recent storms are shedding light on the need to keep an eye on ones that may not be stable. According to Jeremy McCollum, the owner of Hoover’s own Log and Leaf Tree Service, proper pruning can prevent live trees from falling in storms. In other instances, a tree may look fine from a distance and have green leaves, but its roots have begun rotting due to too much moisture. Click the link for more help identifying problem trees.
