- On Monday evening, the Hoover Planning and Zoning Commission considered three proposals for a new tattoo studio, cosmetology school and event facility in the city. Stay Gold Tattoo Studio applied to relocate its business to the Lorna Town Square shopping center, a new cosmetology school applied to open its business on Rocky Ridge Road, and a new event space applied to open a location at Trace Crossings. The event space is proposed to open in a warehouse to accommodate events for up to 180 people, with an emphasis on weddings and receptions. (Hoover Sun)
