  1. Mobile police are seeking an armed robbery suspect who forced a cashier and a customer into a walk-in cooler. According to authorities, the robbery took place at the Fulton Food Mart off Dauphin Island Parkway early Thursday morning. The male suspect fired at least one shot into the cooler and fled the scene before he could be put into custody. Thankfully, no injuries were reported in the incident. (WKRG News 5)
  2. Tomorrow, the Mobile City Council will consider awarding a contract that would signal the beginning of the Perch Creek Preserve project. The project aims to transform the shuttered treatment plant on Park Road and Alba Avenue into part of the preserve, which would function as a series of recreational parks. According to the project description, the park masterplan would repurpose portions of the structures into public restrooms, lookouts with views of Mobile Bay, and other elements of the park's structure.   3. Looking for a free, family-friendly activity to celebrate the holiday season? The Mobile Museum of Art is hosting a Holiday Market & Open House on Saturday, Dec. 3 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. In addition to free museum admission and a holiday ornament craftivity, guests can enjoy live music, food trucks, and handmade items from local vendors.
