Free Tacos At Birmingham-Area Taco Bell Locations

How does a free Doritos Locos Taco sound? Here's what you need to know to get one here in Birmingham.

You don't have to be a Golden State Warriors fan to appreciate the team on Wednesday. In fact, you can be ambivalent about basketball or you can even detest the back-to-back NBA Champs β€” and still love the fact that they're offering a free Doritos Locos Taco to every American who chooses to claim one.

That includes Alabama Taco Bell locations. The fast-food chain has several locations in the Birmingham area. Check the Taco Bell website to find the one closest to you.

It's Taco Bell's annual "Steal a Game, Steal a Taco" promotion, which guarantees free food when an away team wins in the NBA Finals. The Warriors road-win over the Cavaliers in Cleveland last Wednesday triggered the free-for-all.

Kerry Tatlock, the NBA's head of marketing partnerships, said in a statement, "'Steal a Game, Steal a Taco' adds another level of competition to the mix and unites fans to rally around something everyone can get behind -- free tacos." Maybe not. Cavaliers fans are unlikely to feel united with Warriors fans right now, but at least they're getting free tacos, too.
