Portion Of AL 79 at I-59/20 To Close For Repairs
The Alabama Department of Transportation is closing part of AL 79 at I-59/20 for bridge repairs.
BIRMINGHAM, AL — The Alabama Department of Transportation will perform bridge repairs on of AL 79 at I-59/20 for the next few days, which will cause significant traffic delays. The work will continue daily from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Wednesday, according to the Birmingham Business Journal.
The project began Thursday on the Alabama Highway 79 southbound intersection of the I-59/20 southbound entrance ramp.
