Tarrant Drug Bust On Highway 79 Nets Marijuana, Pills
A traffic stop in Tarrant resulted in the seizure of marijuana, amphetamines, ecstacy and other drugs.
TARRANT, AL — A traffic stop on Highway 79 in Tarrant Sunday resulted in an arrest and the discovery of marijuana and various pills. The traffic stop occurred at Highway 79 and Alabama Street around 9:30 a.m. Sunday, according to an ABC 33/40 report.
Police found 92 grams of marijuana, 41 amphetamine pills, 5 Percocet pills, 1 ecstasy pill, $180.00 in prop bills and several items constituting paraphernalia.
The man driving the car is charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
