CONWAY, AR β€”A Trussville resident was one of 664 students honored by the University of Central Arkansas in December at that school's fall commencement, the school announced recently.

Matthew L. Pearson was presented with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) at the graduation, which was held over two days at UCA's Farris Center.

During the weekend, UCA students earned degrees and certificates from the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences, College of Business, College of Education, College of Health and Behavioral Sciences, College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, and the Graduate School.
