King reported that Eutaw native Debbie A. Taylor, 55, was killed when the 2009 Toyota Camry that she was driving was struck by a 2022 Toyota RAV4 driven by a man from Livingston.
The driver of the RAV4 and a one-year-old passenger were both injured and transported to an area hospital for treatment. The extent of their injuries was not made public.
Taylor was pronounced dead at the scene, while a 60-year-old female passenger from Eutaw was injured and transported to DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa. Her status is also unknown at this time.
ALEA says both fatal crashes remain under investigation.
