The extension was unanimously approved by the Board of Trustees, with Board Chair Noel Amason commenting “Tuscaloosa Academy has seen a burst of energy and progress under Beckie’s leadership. Her visionary mindset sets a very promising future for our school.”

Share first assumed her role in June 2022 and has been praised for demonstrating dedication to the school's mission and values.
School leaders also pointed to Share's guidance and development of Tuscaloosa Academy's comprehensive five-year strategic plan.

Additionally, Share has emphasized improving safety and security, along with overseeing building upgrades and increasing the school's branding visibility. She is also credited with heading up a thriving annual fund fundraising campaign.
"Tuscaloosa Academy and Tuscaloosa have quickly become home for me and my family," Share said. "I am honored to extend my commitment to the students, families, and faculty of our school. Together, we will continue the progress and celebrate every student’s potential. Exciting adventures are ahead for TA.”
