Alabama Places 14 On 2024 Preseason Coaches All-SEC Teams
The University of Alabama football team has had 14 players named to the 2024 Preseason Coaches All-SEC Team.
TUSCALOOSA, AL— The Southeastern Conference announced Thursday that the University of Alabama football team has had 14 players named to the 2024 Preseason Coaches All-SEC Team.

The Crimson Tide can claim four first-team selections: offensive lineman Tyler Booker, linebacker Deontae Lawson, defensive back Malachi Moore and punter James Burnip.

Alabama also saw five players picked for the second team, including offensive linemen Kadyn Proctor and Parker Brailsford, defensive lineman Tim Smith, placekicker Graham Nicholson and long snapper Kneeland Hibbett.
The third-team selections for the Crimson Tide included quarterback Jalen Milroe, running back Justice Haynes and defensive players Tim Keenan III, Jihaad Campbell, and Domani Jackson.

Alabama will open its 2024 season on Saturday, Aug. 31, when the Crimson Tide hosts the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
Kickoff for the opener is set for 6 p.m. and will be broadcast on ESPN.
