TUSCALOOSA, AL β Alabama menβs golfer Dominic Clemons was recognized Thursday as the SEC Menβs Golfer of the Week after a standout performance at the Folds of Honor Collegiate in Grand Haven, Michigan.

A junior from England, Clemons finished the tournament with a score of 9-under par 204 (69-66-69).
Clemons also carded three consecutive rounds in the 60s and posted a second-round score of 5-under par 66.

With the win, Clemons became the first Alabama golfer to win in his debut tournament since Justin Thomas claimed the title at the Carpet Capital Collegiate in the 2011-12 season.
Clemons secured the individual title by one stroke over Texas golfer Tommy Morrison, who finished at 8-under par. He recorded just one bogey in his final round while sinking three birdies.
